Childhood Cancer

I just read an update in Oncology Nurse Advisor on the incidence of cancer in children. Cancer in children is rare, yet it is the leading cause of death by disease past infancy in the United States. The most common types of cancers in children ages 0 - 14 years are leukemias, brain and other central nervous system tumors, lymphomas, soft tissue sarcomas, neuroblastoma and kidney tumors. I am the Founder and CEO of The Women with Wings Foundation.
