These resources or creative prompts have been developed over a decade of working with domestic violence survivors, cancer and chronic pain patients, their family members and healthcare providers. Each one is used in the Create to Heal program and participants report these are excellent tools that reduce stress and jump start imagination and creativity.
Remember we are all born creative. Create to Heal resources reinvigorate your sense of play and the freedom of expression. The more you show up to create, the more your creativity shows up to support you.

Cancer Wisdom from the Nature Meditation and Wave Art. Top of the Waterfall. "Thundering waves, clashing strong, water falling down ... rapid … mist in my face. Looking past the thundering waves, I see calm, soothing water. Healing water. I see the strength of the falling water, swirling loud, and I see the calm of the water below. Birds, sunlight, peace … I embrace it all." |

Cancer Wisdom from the Nature Meditation and Wave Art. Sea of Life. "The waves moving about, crashing into one another, the undercurrent moving in a path of its own. The Journey has been in a state of upheaval and I ride these waves and hold on tight. The undercurrent rocks me in opposing directions with unsuspected force. Out of the tumultuous sea rises a bird with wings, dripping and drying. I soar with my head up and heart large with the experiences of my Cancer Journey."
