I recently met a man named John Smith – yes, his real name! He lives in the Hood River Area of Oregon, is married with two grown sons, and is an excellent writer. He loves to golf, garden, and hike. He has also been living with multiple myeloma since his diagnosis in December, 2007.

Through his blog Good Blood Bad Blood, John shares information on the disease, including protocol and treatments while giving beautiful insights – life lessons – into what it means to be a human being, going through the challenges and joys of life. John takes the word survivor to it’s highest level … by living life to its fullest with grace, compassion and creativity. He is lit from within.
